Chrismar has introduced navigation skills to over 35,000 students and over a thousand adult instructors through one of our part-day, full-day or weekend navigational skills clinics, including professionals from the public schools, private schools, summer camps, police services and military fields. Mark even wrote and produced an Instructor's Handbook for Canada’s military.
We also create active programs that schools, outdoor education centres and summer camps can efficiently operate to help children become comfortable and knowledgeable in their map-reading skills, whether as an indoors introduction, outdoors in the schoolyard or main camp, or in a larger wilderness property. Plus we make and sell the equipment and materials needed for these programs such as large-scale maps, mini-signs, pin punches, award ribbons, compasses & cases, etc.
